Blackhawk

Nestled at the base of Mount Diablo in the San Francisco Bay Area, Blackhawk is an exclusive residential community originally developed in the late 1970s by businessman and developer Ken Behring from a 4,200-acre cattle ranch. Today, it is known for its gated neighborhoods, luxury homes, and high-end amenities that offer both privacy and prestige.

At the heart of the community is the Blackhawk Country Club, featuring two championship golf courses, a sports complex, and fine dining. Surrounding the club are seven distinct neighborhoods, each showcasing its own architectural style.

Residents also enjoy Blackhawk Plaza’s upscale shopping and dining, set among landscaped gardens and waterfalls, as well as the renowned Blackhawk Museum—home to a world-class collection of classic automobiles and rotating cultural exhibits. With its serene setting and access to top-rated schools, Blackhawk blends tranquility, sophistication, and convenience in one of the East Bay’s most desirable locations.

Over the past decade, home values in Blackhawk have increased by approximately 141.5%, significantly outpacing the national average of 101.1% during the same period.
